Repair-HD - Human pluripotent stem cell differentiation, safety and preparation for therapeutic transplantation in Huntington’s disease

Repair-HD is a four-year collaborative research project funded by the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration under Grant Agreement no 602245; official starting date is October 1st 2013.

Project partners undertake the complex task of taking stem cell therapies to clinical application for  neurodegenerative disease by focusing on the selective differentiation of a single neuronal phenotype, the medium piny striatal neuron (MSN) and a single well-defined disease, Huntington's Disease (HD).
